Travel to Mt Cootha Lookout for a panorama of Brisbane. then wander through Southbank Parklands on the fringe of the city and enjoy the various free activities that are offered year round, including live bands, street theatre and a swimming pool, a great place for families and children. Or alternatively, visit one of Brisbane's wildlife sanctuaries.

Day 2
Travel to Moreton Island and you may meet the dolphins that frequent the waters on the way.

Day 3
Further afield is the Gold Coast, a region well known for it's climate, beaches, shopping and nightlife. You can experience the thrills and spills at any one of the many theme parks making it a great place for families Fisherman's Wharf is an established area that offers fresh seafood and a range of international cuisines ... a great place to experience local and international foods.

Day 4
Tourism QueenslandTravel to Lamington National Park, the Gold Coast Hinterland and join a guided walk focusing on the unique Australian birds in the area. If you want something faster paced, try a bungy jump over water or a scenic helicopter ride along the coast.

Day 5
You can simply relax at one of the many beaches and then spend the afternoon at Pacific Fair, a shopping complex with over 270 department and specialty stores. Or try your luck at Jupiters Casino on the Gold Coast.
